january digest | songs i like rn, the moon diaries, and a few links
It's been a quiet and introspective January so far. Trying to give myself tiny windows of no input, to see what bubbles up.
I spent the weekend at K's. We took ourselves on a dinner date, then watched Fallout and the movie Palm Springs. I love that movie. It's funny, charming, and they're stuck in a time loop.

When I mindlessly sketch, ideas tend to crop up. Much like taking a shower or walking with the doggo, these one-task things let my mind relax. Mind-wandering on paper acts like a soft container for daydreaming.

I like the sensation of drawing with a pencil but the smudge factor bugs me.
