journaling thoughts + doodles

I was watching a vid by Moonlit Journal, and she said something that resonated, and it's that her journal feels like a companion. I feel this too. I love spending time in my journal, doodling, writing, collecting quotes, noting quick thoughts, writing ideas for my blog, or just documenting the weather.

The act of pen on paper is soothing, esp if I'm feeling anxious or down.

Like I mentioned a few blog posts back, I'm dedicating this year to finishing all the half-filled journals I have, and this week I've been in my Stalogy A6 slim. Back into some crinkly thin pages for a bit. Does anyone else cycle through different notebooks? One week, I'll be journaling pages and pages of pure text in a proper A5, the next, I'll hop into a pocket notebook and only do some light logging of sorts, then I'll pop into a blank notebook and sketch for most of the week without much writing. It feels a little chaotic to be cycling through them every week, but as long as I'm using them up, and dating as I go it's fine right?

the women of stars hallow

I found the cutest zine for my friend B. She loves Gilmore Girls, and so when I saw it at Secret Planet, I had to get it for her <3

lately

It's the week before my period, and I have the worst case of insomnia. Apparently, this is quite common? I need sleep so badly.

I visited a new library today with my sister after we went for breakfast. 'Twas a perfect day:)
