using the notebook i have instead of buying a new one
This morning, I had the unbearable urge to buy the Hobonichi Techo.
I almost did it.
Almost.
But i resisted, barely. I decided that this year shall be the year I use up all my half, and barely started notebooks before buying anything new. The absolute strength of will this is taking lol.
What is it with me and buying notebook after notebook and not finishing them? Is it the high of "fresh possibilities"? I just don't know.
I have a similar problem with my sketchbooks. I bounce between three or four, and for once, I'd like to start one and f finish it.
I pulled the Stalogy notebook off my shelf and decided that this would be the first one to complete.
I'd like to use it as a daily journal and a sketchpad for doodles. I love the super-thin pages but with certain markers, the ghosting is severe.
Last night I was watching a few journaling vids and came across this girl's sketchbook tour. It's an onion skin journal? I'm in love. The crinkly see-through paper is so lovely! Next year, after I've gone through all my unfinished books, perhaps I'll try that one.
